FROM DOWNTOWN
BY BUS: Take Bus #7 Outbound to the stop at Gwennie’s Restaurant (Ask the Driver). Walk to the nearest intersection and go down East Turnagain Blvd. (There is only one direction you can go.) Almost immediately you will intersect 42nd Avenue, turn left. Walk about half way up the block, we are on the right. The House number is 2845.
BY CAR: Travel West until you come to “L” Street and turn left. “L” will become Minnesota. Continue and you will go through a park, by a lagoon and under an overpass. After the overpass, the second light will be Northern Lights Blvd. Turn right. Go to the third light (Wisconsin/Turnagain Parkway) and turn left. Go about 0.9 miles to 42nd Ave. and turn left. Go about half way down the block and we are on the left. The House number is 2845.
BY TAXI: All the taxi companies are about the same. It should cost about $12, a little more from the train station. And up to five people can ride for that price.
FROM THE AIRPORT:
BY BUS: Take Bus #7 Inbound. Get off at Gwennies Restaurant (Ask the Driver). Walk to the nearest intersection and walk down East Turnagain Blvd. (There is only one direction you can go.) Almost immediately you will intersect 42nd Avenue, turn left. Walk about half way up the block, we are on the right. The House number is 2845. There are private busses that will take you, but they often do not take you directly to the hostel and are not much cheaper than a taxi. They charge per rider and sometimes per bag so if there are more than one of you don’t use them.
BY TAXI: If you take a taxi, make certain they don’t take you to a different hostel which are much further away and will cost you much more. It should cost about $8 and up to 5 people can ride for that price.
BY CAR: When you depart the airport there is only one way you can go. The second light you get to is Spenard Road/Jewel Lake Road. Turn left there and go to the next light. Turn left again (Wisconsin Blvd.) and go about 2 blocks. Turn right on 42nd Avenue. Go about half way down the block and we are on your left. The House number is 2845.
